Each year, Kansas City Favorites showcases the businesses, people, and places our community loves most. In 2023, more than 4,950 businesses, organizations, and individuals competed across 269 categories, each hoping to land in one of the top three spots. We are incredibly proud to be named Kansas City’s favorite diner—and even more proud to be part of this community.

It’s been that way since Ed and Kathi opened the original Corner Cafe with just 40 seats. Today, with three locations in Riverside, Liberty, and Independence, Missouri, we continue to serve the same scratch-made comfort food that has become a part of so many Kansas City family traditions.

From our fluffy biscuits and gooey cinnamon rolls to our crispy fried chicken and house-made tenderloin sandwiches, everything we serve is made with love and pride.
